I Want to Be & I Can Be

This is your life, 

Learn the knowledge, 

That you will give to yourself, 

And your peers of your generation with self-discipline, 

Recognizing that no discipline, 

Within self will cause Self-destruction, in your direction to succeed in life turns, 

Respect for self and others will instill a positive attitude,

That conquers any challenge that tries to succumb your purpose of  being,

Stand up straight to acknowledge who you are proud to be, you will gain weight of strength, 

Courage of endurance, 

Stability of statue, 

Determination of fight to win and build a foundation, 

planting seeds of life to grow for generations to come, 

So I say I can be what I want to be for me,

 Beside my ancestors before me,
